My Mission
After great thought on the matter, I have decided to undertake Druidry training in the art of the bard. Over this next year I am going to make a constant effort to improve my fiction writing and poetry, each piece containing a more powerful message than may be apparent at first glance. That is the plan any way. If I can even slightly improve, entertain, or stumble upon wisdom through my writing, I am happy.

Spirit
The endless beginning, of a silent sound,
Eternally lost, but forever found.
Around us you dwell, but you stay so far,
The sun, the moon, the life of the star.
We know you so well, but we don't know your name,
Some laugh, or joke, but we all 'feel' the same.
You're the sadness we feel, and the love we desire,
The earth, the air, the water, the fire.
Despite different beliefs, in some way you're there,
The spark of life, that all of us share.
On this earth, you will always be,
The unmissable spirit, that none of us see.
Interpreting The Poem.
Originally, when lying in bed and writing the words that were flowing to my mind, I was basing the poem around the ethereal source of all that exists, some may know it as the Web Of Wyrd. However it was not until the next morning, when I checked my messy, scribbled notes that I was met with a new idea, an idea born out of the five elements. I played around with the words, edited the odd line and rearranged the stanza's, until eventually it had been shaped into an invocation of Spirit that can be used in Pagan ritual.
The elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water are all necessary in certain amounts to every living organism on this planet, and if they were not in the same exact balance as we have them now none of us would exist. Spirit is the reason for this. Spirit is the link that binds us to the elements and the elements to everything else, keeping and restoring the balance should any ripples be found along this universal web. It is because of this, that after the Four elements have been invoked into ritual, that Spirit is too. I felt that Spirit deserved it’s own unique and caring invocation, that truly depicted it’s awesome yet gentle presence.
For those of you out there that are not practitioners of Paganism, or any other esoteric religion, I suggest that you take this poem to refer to the 'powers at be' that you believe in, be it the Creator God, Jehova, or any product of scientific theory that relates to the statement, “we know that the big bang happened, but what made it happen?” Under these pretences, I’m sure we can all get along and understand the poem on some level.

Wow...how beautiful, Nasake. Voted up and beautiful. Absolutely love your take on the divine in this poem. I agree 100%!
WOW! The picture lends so much intrinsic value to your wise words poetically held for eternity. What I like most, since it is spirit bound, if spirit can be bound, it that is speaks of anything, being of the material, yet encompasses all that is 'immaterial.' Well done nasake. Liked much.
definitely a lovely poem. I too like the picture. Looks like a bridge that would be over a water scene of Monet's waterlilies. Serene.
Good poem. Fabulous picture.
Excellent thoughts... I really think the opening line about an endless beginning of a silent sound is inspired... it's like it's always there and it never ends....
